From Ihe man responsible for the Aston Martin DB9, V8 Vantage and BMW Z8, would you expect anything less than an absolute stunner? Thought so! Henrik Fisker's Karma uses a combination of electric and petrol engines. For the first 80 km, the batteries can do the job. After that, the 4-cylinder engine kicks in and charges the Lithium ion batteries. The company claims that an average user will only be refueling once a year. Put your foot down on the throttle though, and it'll push you from 0-100 kmph in less than 6 seconds and onto a 200 kmph top speed. Each one will cost US$ 80,000 when it starts selling in 2009, but if you prefer, you can also book one today and get one of the Fisker autographed editions.
