This is Samsung's latest and greatest; the UltraTouch. Unlike most other touchscreens (but like the iPhone), the S8300 features a capacitive touchscreen. Which means that it's made of glass (which is also scratch resistant). But behind that glass screen lies 240 × 400 pixels worth of droolworthy OLED technology. Even without comparing it to a standard LCD screen, you'll see that the technology is far ahead of anything we have today. Superb blacks, eye-popping colors, excellent visibility from all angles and a brilliant color gamut are all part of the parcel. I'm hoping that Samsung applies this display technology to give us some large screen TVs as well.
