摘要

Realizing Excellence is crucial to helping teachers and administrators understand the scope of standards-based reform. In April 2005, the International Technology Education Association (ITEA) will release Realizing Excellence: Structuring Technology Programs. This document is a pivotal addition to the ITEA Addenda to Technological Literacy Standards Series'. In ITEA's graphic model of an educational program, first introduced in the standards document, Advancing Excellence in Technological Literacy: Student Assessment, Professional Development, and Program Standards (AETL) (ITEA, 2003), program encompasses several comppnents. These include content, professional development, curricula, instruction, student assessment, and the learning environment, all implemented across grade levels (see Figure 1).
