What inspired you to become a technology and engineering educator? I began college with the intention of pursuing pre-Mechanical Engineering. One of the prerequisites was an Introduction to Mechanical Engineering seminar. They talked about the classes we would take, what we needed to do to get into the program, and we got to talk to some of the students currently in the program. They talked about how there was no social life and you just spend time with your study group. I am a very social being, so the thought of a college experience and career in a cubicle sounded terrible. I went through the list of majors and found Technology and Engineering Education and looked into it. I fell in love with it immediately. It was all of the "fun classes" I studied in high school. I transferred into the major and have never regretted it. I have loved learning everything and I love striving to help students find their love in the material, too.
