A proper design, construction, acceptance and operation are the four keys to a perennial and reliable network

The fight against pollution has regiven its importance to the design, construction, acceptance and operation of sanitation networks. The design should no longer result from the mere assembly of parts but from the study of technical solutions adapted to the project constraints. The same is true for all the steps involved to ensure the industrial reception and operation of the future network. The recent French and European regulations are based on the need for a global and consistent approach: "to limit pollution, the collection, reception and operations of the networks and treatment need to be improved".%La lutte contre la pollution a redonné son importance à la conception, la réalisation, la réception et l'exploitation des réseaux d'assainissement. La conception ne doit plus résulter d'un simple assemblage de pièces mais de l'étude de solutions techniques adaptées aux contraintes du projet. Il en va de même pour l'ensemble des étapes permettant d'assurer la mise en service et l'exploitation de ce futur réseau. La nouvelle réglementation française et européenne est construite sur cette nécessité d'une approche globale et cohérente : « pour dépolluer, il faut améliorer la collecte, la réception, l'exploitation des réseaux et le traitement».
