Technical textiles help drive workwear and personal protection markets

The increasing use of technical textiles and processes is seen as the main area of growth for the workwear and personal protection market by the organizers of the Workwear and Clothing Show, held at Silverstone, UK, on 16-17 April 2013. Speaking at the show, the event's Managing Director,Yvette Ashby explained that the programme for this year's associated Worktt Conference had focused on advanced nano-technologies for performance clothing because of the potential these have for more sophisticated personal protection equipment (PPE).
