US demand for nonwovens forecast to exceed US$7 billion in 2016

US demand for nonwovens is forecast to rise 5.7% a year to reach a value of US$7.1 billion in 2016,according to the latest study. Part of the increase will be the result of higher demand, as measured by the area of fabric, and part from an increase in the average price, some of which will be the consequence of a shift in the product mixture towards higher-value fabrics.
