Innovations abound throughout the fibre processing chain and increasingly developments are targeting technical textiles, writes Nick Butler. Visitors to the stand of Oerlikon Manmade Fibers from Remscheid and Neumuenster, Germany, will be invited to take virtual reality tours of spinning plants in order to see the company's products in action throughout the process chain, from polycondensation of the raw materials to downstream processing, via spinning and texturing of fibres and yarns.
