Re-Tooling Acquisitions for Lean Times. A Report of the ALCTS AS Organization and Management Committee Session, American Library Association Annual Conference

摘要

The ALCTS Acquisitions Section (AS) Organization and Management Committee session at ALA Annual in Orlando took place on June 26, 2016. It was co-sponsored by the ALCTS Cataloging and Metadata Management Section (CaMMS) Copy Cataloging Interest Group and the ALCTS Heads of Cataloging Departments Interest Group. The panel included two technical services leaders who reflected on their experiences assessing workflows, making organizational adjustments, and rearranging staff space to maximize efficiency.
