Metal: Noncombustible Steel Building Wails

ThyssenKrupp's Isorock sandwich panels have been classified as an A2 noncombustible building material and approved for use as firewalls under section 5.8.4 of the German industrial building code. Previously these walls were built from concrete. Isorock sandwich panels consist of steel cover sheets connected with high-shear resistance to a core of stone wool. The cover sheets have a hot-dipped coating of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum and an enamel paint topcoat for additional corrosion protection and an attractive decorative effect. Customers can choose from a wide range of colors. Panel surfaces are smooth and easy to clean.
