Film and Profile Performance Grinders

Grinder maker Vecoplan LLC is offering grinding equipment for reclaiming film/synthetic fibers and bulky profile extrusion waste. For reprocessing film/fibers, the firm has introduced two models in its ReTech series of single-shaft rotary grinders. The rotors of the new models are designed to effectively shred film, with rows of nip cutters added to eliminate the tendency of film to wrap around the cutting rotor. A hydraulic ram feeds material to the rotor. Other benefits include less thermal degradation of the reprocessed material, reduced machine stress and higher output.
