Waste material recycling processes are very important in the world today due to the increasing amounts of waste generation. This is making the researchers to be on the look out for alternate solutions. The rate of plastic recycling lags behind the recycling of other items such as newspapers and cardboard because plastic polymers require greater processing. Recycling experts further append that a significant percent of the polymer waste is unsuitable for recycling. The reasons for such an unsuitability are that the polymer waste contains mixtures of different types of polymers and the polymer itself is dirty. Hence the recycling process becomes economically unprofitable.
