STORY SEISMIC DAMAGE INDEX FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES

摘要

The vulnerability of frame buildings under earthquake excitations depends on the degree of damage experienced by each story during the seismic response. Most of the damage models proposed- in the literature for reinforced concrete frame buildings are based on the behavior of single components such as beams and columns. A seismic damage model which describes the behavior of a specific story of reinforced concrete buildings is proposed. The proposed model calculates the story level damage index by the combination of the known damage indexes of the beams and columns in the story. Instituto de Materiales y Modelos Estructurales
