For many years we've been advising customers on how to restrict or change outdoor lighting to avoid attracting flying insects to homes, warehouses, or retail areas. Avoid the standard incandescent light bulb, we say, and use yellow bulbs or sodium vapor lights. Recently, there's been a new and popular outdoor lighting option and that's LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights. Are LEDs a good idea or not?
