Primarily geared toward cleanup rather than connecting to tools, this is one of only two vacuums in the test that includes wands and accessories but has no tool-activated mode. The vacuum powered through all the tests without losing much suction, but a few shakes were necessary to keep heavier debris from settling in the larger-diameter hose. The canister of the vac incorporates handholds to help with tipping and emptying the contents, a feature I'm surprised to find lacking on many other models.
