Plenary and Contributed Sessions SWS 25th Anniversary Annual Meeting

Our plenary speakers will start-off the conference with presentations of their perspectives on the regulation of wetlands, the history of management implications, and looking at the issues for creating sustainable human communities. The range of topics of our plenary speakers reflects the range of wetland science and environmental management issues. Dr. Mark Sudol, Chief of the Regulatory Program, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarter. He began working on environmental issues while employed with the Corps' Los Angeles District in the early 1990s. He also completed doctoral studies evaluating the success of wetlands mitigation sites during this timeframe. He has also worked as an. environmental consultant, with his own consulting firm.
