NORMALIZATION OF QCD EFFECTS IN ELECTROWEAK CORRECTIONS

QCD corrections to electroweak processes are discussed. The appropriate coupling constant normalization point for the QCD corrections to electroweak processes is considered. Using the method of Brodsky. Lepage, and Mackenzie, it is shown that for the ρ parameter, the normalization point for α_s is 0.15m_t is the MS scheme. The role of long distance QCD corrections is discussed.
