A midsized automotive manufacturing client utilizing our TMS (Transportation Management System) realized benefits quickly from this partnership. After integration with their ERP system, our system began to generate customized documents. This freed up dock personnel, allowing them to focus on other warehouse activities. With visibility into all inbound shipments scheduled to deliver, they reallocated necessary resources to handle scheduled deliveries. Our system enabled them to take control of more inbound shipments, reducing freight costs by utilizing their own in-house carriers and discounts. Customer service team members were able to track outbound shipments while in transit, providing status updates to their own clients, thus improving service after the sale. The enhanced visibility and reporting offered by our TMS improved forecasting, budgeting, and carrier rate negotiations.
