Growth in residential segment will affect many U.S. manufacturers

The conditions for market growth in the renewable energy sector could not be more promising. Solar accounted for 74 % of all new U.S. electric capacity installed in Q1 2014. 6.6 GW of PV will be installed by the end of the year. Analysts predict more than 8 GW by the end of the year. The forecast also shows after years of the utility sector's steady growth the residential market is now ready to seriously expand.
