Obituary for Professor Takuji Kobori: Great pioneer in structural dynamics and control

Dr Takuji Kobori, Professor Emeritus of Kyoto University, passed away on 5th of September 2007 in Kyoto, Japan, at the age of 86. He was recognized as one of the greatest leaders in the field of structural and earthquake engineering. His pioneering research activities inspired a huge number of research and practicing engineers worldwide.
