Workshop on shear and punch-ing shear in RC and FRC elements

摘要

A workshop on recent developments on shear and punching shear in RC and FRC elements was held in Salo, Lake Garda, on October 15 and 16,2010. The idea of organizing this workshop raised up in Dubrovnik, during the Joint fib-IABSE Conference "Codes in Structural Engineering. Developments and Needs for International Practice", 3-5 May 2010, after a session on shear strength. Some researchers proposed to have a meeting for presenting the different points of view on shear and punching shear and discussing them altogether with the aim of finding a common point of view to include in the coming building codes, starting from the new fib Model Code, of which the first draft version was presented during the fib Congress in Washington last June.
