Tenth anniversary So!apbox special issue: Editorial introduction

摘要

The 10th anniversary of Strategic Organization marks a critical transition as a new editorial team takes over and the journal has solidified its position in the community - a good time to reflect as well as look forward. Ten years ago, Joel Baum, Royston Greenwood, and Dev Jennings founded Strategic Organization - SO! - with the aspiration of connecting various related research communities in strategic management and organization theory whose trajectories did not always intersect. They pointed to a disciplinary separation of work on strategy and organization, to a divide between qualitative and quantitative research traditions, and to the disengagement of North American and European scholars. A guiding theme of the new journal was fostering a new convergence; the field of 'strategic organization'.
