A Delphi Assessment on the Current Developments in Pakistan

Considering the strategic importance of Pakistan for India and the world, periodical assessment of developments in Pakistan is necessary to better identify the direction of its domestic politics and foreign policy. After the Mumbai attacks, it was even considered more important, especially in India, to have a holistic analysis of the developments in Pakistan. As part of this effort, an attempt was made to consult experts on Pakistan from India and abroad through a survey for their considered view on current developments in Pakistan. The Delphi Technique, developed by the Rand Corporation in the 1950s and 1960s, was employed for the survey with minor modifications.
