The road transport and communication are the important sectors of economy in every country. Statistical analysis of factors, which impact on them, enable to say how the area is attractive. In the research the following variables are used: number of cars per square meter, number of lorries per square meter, number of buses per square meter, length of road per square meter and value of GNP per inhabitant. The aim of conduced research is to classify voivodships and to compare them with respect to the road communication. The results showed that units situated in the center of the country and slqskie voivodship are in better situation than others, which arc less attractive for investors.
