摘要

This article discusses the extended expression of the stream function solution of the Brinkman equation in the cylindrical polar coordinates. Analytical solutions of this equation are available in the coordinates (Cartesian, cylindrical polar, spherical polar, and prolate spheroidal coordinates). Using a relation connecting the hypergeometric function and modified Bessel function, stream function solutions of the Brinkman equation reported earlier by Pop and Cheng (1992) and Deo et al. (2016) are also deduced.
