Michael Griffin has announced a fourth HST service mission with a tentative date of September 11, 2008. Hubble likely to experience total gyro failure by 2008 without service; HST replacement, the James Webb Space Telescope, to launch no earlier than 2013. HST Team is planning to de-orbit the spacecraft following end-of-ops; however, a graveyard orbit is still possible.
