Northrop and MDA Conduct Missile Defense Simulation

Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman Corp. said Aug. 18 that it had completed an end-to-end ballistic missile defense system simulation in partnership with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA).rnAs the prime contractor at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., Northrop Grumman led a team that planned and executed the Ballistic Missile Defense Systems Performance Assessment 2009. The simulation was designed to analyze how the U.S. ballistic missile defense system's radars, communication networks and interceptors perform during scenarios.
