Brazilian Military Buying Indra Satellite Terminals

Indra of Spain will provide portable satellite communications terminals to the Brazilian Ministry of Defense in an initial contract valued at $5 million that Indra said consolidates its six-year-long relationship in satellite telecommunications with Brazil's military. Madrid-based Indra, which already employs 1,500 people in Brazil working on information technology development, said it will deliver the terminals as part of Brazil's SISCOMIS military satellite telecommunications network, which includes hardware for ground and naval forces.
