NASA Adds a Year to SAIC's Mission Assurance Contract

Houston-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) will contin-ue supporting safety and mission assur-ance activities at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston, for at least another year under a contract extension the U.S. space agency announced April 25. The one-year extension includes two additional six-month options for a total potential value of $73.8 million.Work under the Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services contract will be performed at Johnson, Kennedy Space Center in Florida and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
