Glowlink Lands $2.7 Million Contract with U.S. Air Force

Glowlink will provide the U.S. Air Force with an unspecified number of systems for satellite signal monitoring and locating sources of interference under a contract valued at $2.7 million, the company announced Jan. 3. Los Altos, Calif.-based Glowlink characterized the competitively awarded, firm-fixed-price contract as one of the most significant in its history. Glowlink specializes in systems based on commercial, off-the-shelf technology that allow satellite operators to monitor the integrity of their signals and determine the location of sources of interference. Glowlink* spokeswoman Valerie Low said she could not disclose the number or performance of systems to be provided to the Air Force or where they would be deployed.
