Singapore Firm Reports New Satcom Contracts

Singapore Technologies Engineering recently announced new contracts in its satellite business. The company announced 206 million Singapore dollars ($160 million) of contracts for rail electronics and satellite communications in the second quarter of 2013, with satcom accounting for 182 million Singapore dollars, including local and international customers. These contracts include network infrastructure, block-up converters and amplifiers, as well as satellite hubs and remote terminals to government, enterprises, oil and gas and maritime users.
