SpaceX's experimental Grasshopper launcher, a test bed for a reusable rocket technology, is spied here at its launchpad in McGregor, Texas, by one of the DigitalGlobe (nee GeoEye) satellites that feeds Earth images to Google Maps. On May 7, SpaceX announced it would conduct the next phase of its Grasshopper program at New Mexico's Spaceport America, where the Hawthorne, Calif., company has signed a three-year lease on a new launchpad.
