ORS Programs Begin Bearing Fruit

Shortly after Peter Wegner took the helm of the Pentagon's Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) office in April, the secretary of the U.S. Air Force sent him a memo that said his job would be to invest in commercial technologies while maintaining the budget flexibility to reprogram funds at a moment's notice to respond to urgent military needs.
