Former AIAA, Martin Marietta Pres. Dies

Laurence J. Adams, former president and chief operating officer of Martin Marietta and past president of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), died Feb. 13 at age 86. The Baltimore Sun reported Feb. 18 that Adams died of complications from pneumonia at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore.
