NASA, Roskosmos Sign $306 Million Soyuz Deal

The Russian space agency, Roskosmos, will provide transportation and related services for six international space station crew members in 2012 and 2013 under a $306 million modification to a long-running contract with NASA, the U.S. space agency announced May 28. The contract covers various crew and logistics services associated with the orbital facility. In addition to its own astronauts, NASA is responsible for transporting Canadian, European and Japanese crew members to the space station.
