The head of one of NASA's main congressional oversight committees is taking issue with the U.S. space agency's April 9 decision to reissue a $1.26 billion space network services contract to ITT's Herndon, Va.-based Advanced Engineering and Sciences division while allegations of procurement irregularities remain unresolved.rnHouse Science and Technology Committee Chairman Bart Gordon (D-Tenn.)issued a statement the same day saying he had asked NASA not to make the award until the committee and the NASA Office of Inspector General had finished investigating "serious allegations of conflicts of interest that may have affected the procurement."
