Integral Acquires Satid From Britan's Qinetio

Satellite ground systems provider Integral Systems has purchased the satID satellite interference-detection technology from QinetiQ of Britain for $10 million in cash plus about $600,000 in QinetiQs satID-related inventory, Lanham, Md.-based Integral announced Feb. 24. The purchase includes QinetiQ's satID intellectual property, order backlog and an 18-month, $1.6 million contract under which QinetiQ will provide satlD-related consulting services to Integral. QinetiQ as part of the sale has agreed not to compete with Integral in satellite interference-localization for three years.
