In anticipation of its 125th anniversary, last year the Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, Calif., began a technological upgrade to its property. The goal of the project was to blend the resort's history with modern digital communication by using digital signage screens to provide guests with wayfinding and information on the property, hotel amenities, local attractions, and realtime promotions. To create its digital signage network, the hotel turned to Arizona-based Audio Visual Source (AVS) and X2O Media's Xpresenter platform.
