For eighteen years, Brooklyn's 1546 Sixty-Second Street was home to the rock club L'Amours. L'Amours was a local legend, known for its powerful decibels and live acts. Originally opened as a disco, the club changed over to a heavy metal format in the early eighties. Now the Bay Ridge address belongs to Enigma, an upscale, elaborate discotheque catering to a more sophisticated crowd. L'Amours, it seems, has come full circle.
