I Have to admit to being nervous of the changes made to the rules surrounding Rest and Recuperation (R&R) over the summer by the policy bods at the MoD, but I was glad to see that time lost due to delays will be acknowledged.rnI am a firm believer in tour breaks. Not only do they give those on the front line a rest but they provide the family back home some respite and valuable time together.rnThe feeling of expectation that starts to build as the homecoming date is confirmed (after at least three changes; that's the law) is indescribable. You know that you shouldn't get too excited just in case, but that doesn't stop you.
