Falkands veterans were among hundreds of Servicemen and women to play a role in the funeral of Baroness Thatcher, who was laid to rest in London with full military honours. More than 700 troops took part in the occasion, many of them from units linked to the conflict in the South Atlantic and others who had served in the campaign as young soldiers. The former prime minister's coffin was brought to St Paul's Cathedral by a gun carriage of The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery.
