CAUSES OF THE DEFORMATIONS OF A SCHOOL BUILDING IN THE VILLAGE OF DUKAT IN THE MAGADAN OBLAST

Causes of the deformation of a school are analyzed, and measures are proposed for the restoration of the bed's bearing capacity. The design of the new village of Dukat located in the central part of Kolyma (Fig. 1) was initiated in 1980. Type design 113-123-1s/74 was adopted as a base, in addition to which use of rigid sectional-monolithic strip foundations where thawing of permafrost is permitted in the beds was specified. In 1886, five tenement buildings and a children's nursery were experiencing deformation, and were closed to occupancy.
