摘要

1. Metallic towers for the placement of antennas for mobile cellular communication are structures for mass usage. Comparatively small normal forces, and significant bending moments and transverse forces are characteristic of these structures; this enables us to classify them as structures with large eccentricities.rn2. In designing the foundations, large bending moments, pull-out loads, and transverse forces are the determining types of loads; this exerts a major influence on the selection of their type and structural solution.rn3. Small construction volumes, sites that are often well removed from large population centers, and the need for energy autonomy of construction machinery are critical factors for mass installation of the metallic towers. Simple, reliable solutions should be adopted for foundations with minimal expenditures for materials, labor resources, and facilities.
