CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JSC FUNDAMENTPROEKT ON ITS 60th YEAR 'FUNDAMENTPROEKT' - YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW!

Formed in 1951 by order of the Ministry of Construction on concerns of the machine-building institute, the "Fundamentproekt" has evolved together with the country, reflecting all of the basic phases in its creative path. The history of the institute began in 1928 when the State Technical and Consulting Bureau "Stroikonsul'tetsiya" was created. As its work load increased, the following trends were fundamental to its activity: structural - formulated within the trust Fundamentstroi (later the Gidrospetsfundamentstroi), scientific research - in the scientific-research institute (now the N. M. Gersevanov Scientific-Research Institute of Foundations and Underground Structures), and design - in the design-survey loop (now the FIC), which in 1951 was transformed into the State Institute for Design of beds and Foundations "Fundamentproekt." It is still currently known as the "Fundamentproekt."
