The Palletways Group, which provides express distribution services for small consignments of palletised freight to the drinks industry, took part in the recent successful world record breaking hot air balloon flight between the UK and France. Fifty hot air balloons made it across the Channel from Dover to Calais to be officially recognised by the Guinness Book of Records for the largest ever group of balloons to attempt the crossing. This represents the first Guinness Book of Record attempt for the most hot air balloons to cross the English Channel.
