Canada's 'Go Recyle' brings results

The Canadian Beverage Association, Encorp Pacific-Canada, Nestle Waters Canada and the city of Richmond, British Columbia, have announced that their recent Go Recycle! Pilot public spaces recycling programme resulted in a 27% reduction of beverage containers found in the waste stream. There was also a 25% decline in recyclable non beverage containers found in the waste stream amounting to an overall 35% reduc tion in waste going to landfills, the compa nies said.
