Juicing equipment mandated

IN a bid to boost small-scale commercial juice production in Tanzania, the Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organisation has been directed by the government to develop and manufacture juice processing equipment for sale to communities at reasonable cost. Setting up farmers in small-scale industries was important for economic wellbeing and TEMDO was well placed to supply this and other processing equipment said Stella Manyanya, Tanzania's deputy minister for industries, trade and investment.
