Traditional resources in the reconstruction of the contemporary Chinese rural community: the huizhou village as an example 1

摘要

Starting from a study of the particular way Huizhou villages have maintained their traditional cultural resources and the transition path of local society, this article reaches some basic judgments and propositions about the self-consistent village which are used to analyze the interaction between the reconstruction of village communities in contemporary China and good governance in the countryside. The author then provides an analysis of approaches to reviving rural China and building a harmonious society.
