Appalachian coal miner Xinergy emerges from bankruptcy as White Forest Resources

Xinergy Ltd. a metallurgical and thermal coal producer based in Central Appalachia, announced it has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization. The effective date of the company’s first amended joint Chapter 11 plan was effective Feb. 10. The reorganized company has been renamed White Forest Resources Inc.
