The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced a finding of nornsignificant impact in its Environmental Assessment of the BridgerrnCoal Co. Coal Lease Modification.rnAccording to a Dec. 29 news release, the proposed lease modificationrnlies within the existing Bridger underground mine, locatedrnapproximately 35 miles northeast of Rock Springs, Wyo. The companyrnapplied to modify an existing lease in order to avoid the bypass of an estimatedrn738,000 tons of minable federal coal located in a 120-acre tract.
